(see English text below)Þann 6. júní, næstkomandi fimmtudagskvöld, ætlum við að koma saman á Kex og eiga lauflétta samræðu um eitt áhugaverðasta og mikilvægasta (eða hvað?) málefni samtímans: gervigreind.Þetta verður afslöppuð og óformleg stund þar sem við ætlum að spjalla um allt sem á við gervigreind í dag yfir drykk.

Er gervigreind virkilega að fara að breyta heiminum, eða er þetta bara dæmigerður Silicon Valley markaðsæsingur?

Nóg um stór mállíkön. Á hvaða áhugaverða, skrýtna eða ógnvekjandi  máta er verið að nota tæknina í dag sem ekki er verið að tala um?

Ættum við mögulega að hafa einhverjar áhyggjur af þessu öllu saman?

Er séns að við séum óvart að fara að þróa meðvitund, eða er það bara eitthvað sci-fi bull?

Hvetjum öll að mæta! Sama hve mikið eða lítið þú veist um gervigreind. Við bjóðum öll sjónarmið og þekkingarsvið velkomin, því eitt er víst — einmitt núna er endalaust um þetta að ræða og ekkert sjónarmið er ógilt.

On June 6th, this upcoming Thursday evening, we're gathering for a relaxed and informal conversation about one of the most intriguing and possibly vital topics of our time: artificial intelligence.This will be a very relaxed and casual event where people can come together and chat about anything and everything related to AI today over a drink.

Is AI really going to change the world, or is that rhetoric today just typical Silicon Valley marketing hype?

Enough about LLMs. What are some interesting, weird, or scary ways the technology is being used today that people aren’t talking about?

Should we be worried about any of this?

Is there any chance we will accidentally create consciousness, or is that just some sci-fi nonsense?

We encourage anyone and everyone to come join us! No matter how much or how little you know about AI, if you have any interest at all, come on by. All viewpoints and fields of knowledge are welcome, since one thing is for sure — there is endless discussion to be had about this topic.
